StrateJ is the new tertiary training campus that has been hosting since August 2016 in Delémont many higher education courses in health, economics, engineering and teaching sciences. The building, located in the immediate vicinity of the CFF train station, is a unique opportunity to bring together some 600 people under one roof from the HEP-BEJUNE, the HE-arc and the Rectorate of the HES-SO.
Thanks to this new construction, the canton of Jura improved the conditions for the implementation of its existing courses and structures. StrateJ also offers the opportunity to host and experiment with new training offers, through collaborations and opportunities in the process of appreciation.
Seminar rooms can be rented, including an auditorium accommodating 180 people.
This new tertiary training building welcomes students from the Commercial Division and the health-social-Arts Division to Delémont since the start of the academic year 2016. Apart from the classrooms, the campus has an auditorium that can accommodate 150 people, a cafeteria, library and the administration of the Avenir training Unit that offers professional development courses.
The building was built mainly with wood. It offers a bright and very modern setting in the city center of Delémont.
The vocational school in Delémont corresponds to the artisanal Division of the Jurassic Education and Training Centre (CEJEF). Each year, it hosts more than 750 apprentices trained for about 15 different professions in the artisanal field. The apprentices aren’t only from the canton of Jura, but also from the French-speaking part of the canton of Bern, the canton of Neuchâtel and the canton of Vaud.
www.divart.chFrom September 2021, the canton of Jura will have a professional cultural infrastructure allowing the creation and reception of performances on Ticle-site in Delémont. The DNA of the Théâtre du Jura is mostly performance (Theatre), a lot of music, dance and a little circus. The Theatre will have a performance room accommodating 444 people seated or 840 standing, a rehearsal room-mediation-animation-exhibition, a creative room, an outbreak, a bar and an administrative floor. Located in the property complex of the Ticle, the Théâtre du Jura will be a place of life connecting the old town and the District station. In addition to artistic programming, the TDJ will be able to host private events or seminars.
The Theatre will be part of a complex that also includes a Shopping Centre with Co-op and its partners, a restaurant, and more than 100 units.
The Saint-Georges Forum of Delémont was completely renovated in 2010. The Delémont Regional Cultural Center (CCRD), located at the Forum, assumes the management and availability of the Hall for local and regional events. The facilities of the Saint-Georges Forum are intended for socio-cultural events organized by the CFRD, local societies or other cultural actors. They can be shows, theatres, concerts, association meals, etc. Its capacity is 600 people maximum.
CFRD siteLocated in the commune of Val Terbi, the ATRIUM room is located in the heart of the activity of the Communal Center of the village of Vicques. In function since 2006, this large room, modern and flexible according to needs, can accommodate 350 people sitting down to 500 people seated (in show version and with possibility of chairs in bleachers) and up to 1,000 people standing. It’s the ideal place for meetings, banquets and private evening shows or other important events.
The Communal Centre also has 4 other meeting rooms that can accommodate from 12 to 100 people.

ViCulturelle siteThe Delémonts’ agglomeration offers a very varied and attractive range of shops. Delémont’s City Centre offers many food supermarkets, as well as shops of all kinds. The Old Town is more oriented towards small local shops and crafts. The shops-type-brico-leisure and furnishings are concentrated in the South of the city at the “crossroad shops”, and the North-East entrance. In addition, the North of Courrendlin, a small commercial area has recently been home to various businesses including food.
These places are easily accessible from innodel and in just a few minutes, both by bus, bike and or car.
In addition, the local shops are located in the surrounding villages, making it possible to complete the offer with smaller structures offering locally produced products for example.
Inaugurated in 2015, Cinemont is the largest cinema complex in the region as well as the Canton with 4 halls, including a large auditorium accommodating 370 spectators and offering state-of-the-art equipment for film projection (with a 17m wide screen). Thanks to a dynamic team and 2 reception rooms, Cinemont is also the ideal place to organize your events such as seminars, conferences, business outings, cocktail dinners and other events. The crossroads recreation, coupled with the multiplex, includes many sporting and recreational activities such as tennis, badminton, squash, minigolf, bowling, billiards and other games and the Swiss labyrinth during the summer season. A restaurant is available on site, with a room to accommodate up to 250 people for private evenings in particular.
www.lacroisee-sport.chAs part of the “low tide” project regarding the adjustments/redevelopment of the “La Sorne” watercourse for flood protection, an urban park has been conceived to reinforce the green spaces in the urban environment. The Park, which was inaugurated in 2018, offers the population a relaxing space with an open stage for small shows, a play space mainly in wood, a picnic area, a place for pétanque, a Pergola and a veil of shading. A path is proposed for a walk along the banks of the renatured Sorne, from where it’s possible to observe the local flora and fauna.
City siteThe Blancherie Sports Centre in Delémont offers an indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The indoor pool is open all year round. The main basin measures 25 meters in length and the learning area is 12.5 meters long.
The outdoor swimming pool, opens from May to September, has a main basin of 50 meters in length and 20-meter-long learning pool. It also offers two diving or springboard and a slide. Large green areas are available to users, as well as beach volleys and Ping-Pong tables. A restaurant is also available directly on site.
City siteDelémont has a covered skating rink, located near the Blancherie Sport Centre. In operation since 2011, it offers a skating area of 1,800 m² with bleachers on the South side. The Bistr’hockey with its new dining room offers a heated space to have a meal.
pati-regio-delemont.chNow, the nursery offer is well developed in the Delémont region thanks to the new Manchurian nursery, opened since 2018, which can accommodate up to 450 children (192 places occupied by part-time). The building was designed directly for this purpose on two floors and organized according to the age groups. The garden has a very welcoming play place.
Other structures exist in Delémont and in the surrounding villages, thus proposing a diversified offer.
Delémont has a new bus station since 2016. Located next to the CFF (SBB) station, it’s the focal point between all the bus lines of the agglomeration and beyond. The docks/platforms have been upgraded and are accessible to people with reduced mobility. A large canopy allows you to wait in the shelter and a closed glass waiting room is also available to travelers. The city of Delémont received the FLUX 2016 “Golden Node” award.
Delémont and its agglomerations welcomes many active companies in diversified fields. In the sector, there are three strategic areas for economic development. These are innodel (activity zone of cantonal interest), the Communance (area of activity) and South Station (mixed zone). Each one still has available land for future developments.
National or international renowned Companies are established in the agglomeration, in the immediate vicinity of innodel.
